  • ...Honkai Star Rail has a character named Dan Feng.

Which means if I ever write an hsr au, I might have to give Feng a codename or something.

    Well, anyway.
I rode the Aquabus in Genshin yesterday, and I'm going to write Siorc riding it and am probably making an entire chapter out of him learning how Fontaine works. (Hooray).

...Or rather, an entre book in Fontaine because things are going to be crazy there. (He has to become a member of Lyney's Magic Troupe, become a phantom thief, etc). But, I've had this planned since pretty much the beginning of the year, though. A Fontaine book.
I doubt they actually read feedback lmfao.

This is usually why I try to do uncommon names with my ocs so they can't become npcs, but alas, not all of the names I pick end up being that sort of case.
Me in the next satisfaction survey: dear hoyoverse,

please don't make a playable character named Feng I'll...stop spending money on the game.

    Imagine if that'd actually work....god.

...There's an (slightly) important npc named Truand too, now. Welp, rip Robin. Then again, I guess I never actually say his last name in the story anyway. Not changing anything, though, two people can have the same last name and not be related.
Well, Liath is an actual name, so I'm not surprised to see an npc in the city named that.

I'm just a little bothered. Although, funnily enough there's both a playable & npc named Sara, though. So I'm not too upset about this one.

    There's a Parisa, too...
As long as none of my oc's names don't become playable characters, I won't be mad. Although amongst mine the only likely ones would probably be Fèng or maybe Robin. If that happens, mine came first, but I would be really mad.
*sigh* there's a meluzine named Liath in Fontaine.

Oh, well, I guess, my oc shares a name with an npc. At least it's not an important one.
I have a question, do i send you art submissions for the art swap with PC private messages?
Vanessa is one of "Murata's children" though/Muratan.

It was in the prologue, I think. Which was over 1,000 years ago.
I don't feel like checking rn because I'm online to update my drawings thread atm.
Pyro Archon. Her name is Murata.

... Starting to think though she might be dead bc in the webtoon Vanessa didn't know who that was.
At least they're few and far in between.

Also, seems the traveller being a criminal upon immediately stepping foot in Teyvat was a silly assumption. Seems like Focalors isn't even hiding who she is, either. I wonder why Venti and Zhongli are the only ones hiding who they are.
They're so annoying. I anticipate there will be many in Fontaine too & that makes me want to groan in advance.
Politics aren't my cup of tea. But the real reason I don't like it is that stealth mission. It really pissed me off.
It's a bit dumb in spots, but I'm willing to forgive that since it's from the Early 2000s.

    In terms of Genshin, though

.The only story quest I found to have not so engaging writing tho is Ayato's. But, his is annoying anyway.
Exactly. People just want to hate on something for the sake of hating it.

You know what does have bad writing, though? Tokyo Mew Mew. (I'm sorry, it's true.)
I guess when you put it that way, it makes sense. Quality vs quantity... But, it also depends on the writing. Which a lot of people say that the writing in Genshin is bad or something. I disagree on this point, though.

I do feel like if Traveller didn't show up Inazuma would have still progressed more or less the same, but that's just my opinion.

Although for Mondstadt & Liyue, I was fine with those being shorter since both didn't have like government and politics involved, you know?
Three chapters just isn't enough to resolve a nation basically at war, in my opinion.
Guess it depends on how the story is written. I've heard a common complaint that Inazuma's archon quest was poorly written. In my opinion, it was very rushed and shouldn't have been resolved in three chapters.

I wonder how long Fontaine's is gonna be. I feel like Archon Quests are now getting much longer with each region. Not a bad thing, obviously.
Yeah, time flies. I'm excited for Fontaine, but I will miss Sumeru content at the end of the 3.x saga.
Well, you know more than just like a tiny little noting pot. Something like a normal sized stove.

I think I've only seen more than a tiny little nothing pot in Mondstadt and some around Sumeru city here and there.
