The city renovated the park next to me a couple years ago. The entire area is unrecognizable from what it was like before. And there's a lot more to do in said park - playground, tennis and basketball courts, sports fields - it's actually nice now.

In our place, barren land is turned into the park, or rather the local residents living nearby just smooth the surface to make it like look like sports ground and play sports there. As the area is mostly forest here around, hence those barren lands are given some sort usage....

Though I should say that it gives a new sort of experience as we can modify the boundaries or adjust it according our ease, rather than official grounds which have international or competitive boundaries !!

Interesting. Noticed very few changes to the English script in the official gameplay releases. Would not have expected them to add that back in.

Yeah, I'm shocked that it's a thing that they've added back in, but I'm really happy it's in a proper official English release now. I really like Vivian and I think it makes her a more interesting character, as well as being a character that trans people can look up to and relate to. I also find it really funny seeing the spam of Beldam pictures whenever someone has a less than respectful take on the situation, it's something small that gives me something to laugh about.

Heh, decided to pick up on an old save file on my Silver game (restarted it a while ago and got up to Goldenrod City, put a lot of remaining Pokemon in UM except 4 of them) so I was training up a Drowzee who I named at the time "Mr. Cosmo." and then my 2DS ran out of battery so i'm charging it up now. Still not strong enough to beat Whitney. Pokemon is such a silly little game with it's downfall in quality in the Switch era, yet it's GB/GBC era still holds a charm. :)

It's nice to see that with Vivian in TTYD remake. Hurrah for visibility and what is anti censorship, as she was trans in the original Japanese version!

Sheep's playing it as she's only ever played Sticker Star, poor thing. I played it ages back (twice), but happy to watch her play bits of it for now. I have other games to play.

And yay for the gen 2 games!

In today's newspaper, the top headline for city news was that at least 16 places in our city is affected by drought this summer. Not to forget that this city is one of the hotspot in the country for summer. As of writing, the current temperature is 42 C, with real feel of 51 C.....

Even coolers are not effective in cooling. And there are at least two more weeks before the departure of summer. Let's see how much fun there is in the store until the season switch.

I don't like rainy weather, however soothing they are after the intense summer...it becomes so much humid and sticky. I am better with 40+ C weather with clear skies, than with 32-34 C with humidity.

And saying of which, we don't spring season like many others, instead we get Autumn in between rainy and winter. It turns very windy, and all trees prepare themselves by shedding off their entire leaves covering, so that the support they got from rainy season prior to Autumn, provides them with fresh leaves.

Lots of leaves gets accumulated here and there, but the sound of wind blowing through dried leaves creates a nice rustling effect, and that is very much soothing. I just take out a chair and sit in our garden to enjoy that sound !!

Today I went by the lakeside of our area when I was going to drop my dad to the bus stop. And no surprise, this is how that lake had turned into :

You can see very- very light patch of muddy water at the right corner....

Apart from that everything had dried up and turned to dust.

    And the current temperature:

More than the temperature, it is about the humidity which is making life tough.

And as visible in this screenshot, sunset occurs around 7pm but sunrise occurs around 5:30am. So most of the time temperature remains hot, even in night, with minimum of 32-33°C.
