Tried Revaroom, but couldn't get there from needing to juggle Magnet Rise and trying to get tera charges. Didn't bother with Bronzong, but might be fine to use. After trying Speed Boost Espathra with Stored Power, got tired of dying too fast and ended up trying a Gastrodon that worked after the...
The Swampert tera 7-star raid was announced with Poison tera type. What is everyone planning to try for the raid?
We won't have to worry about planning around a hidden ability (Damp) this time around, since exploding is typically a bad raid strategy anyways. Poison tera is strong against...
I have watched all of the seasons of Pokemon in dub, but Horizons I couldn't make it past episode 1 and needed to change to subtitles. Liko's voice bothered me.
Naughty nature?
RE: The thread; I ended up using the Clodsire method to beat Primarina. I wasn't doing well with Tinkaton.
Clodsire
Nature: Adamant or Brave
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera: Poison (I beat it as tera Rock the first time)
Item: Metronome
- Curse
- Protect
- Amnesia
- Poison Jab
If Psychic Noise would be brutal. Might look into Poison/Dark with tera Poison in that case. Dodge the heal prevention for most of the raid and then go crazy with tera attacks later on. Possibly Alolan Muk with Poison Jab//Curse/Gunk Shot/Screech or Minimize.
Moonblast could make Kingambit tera...
The Primarina tera 7-star raid was announced with Fairy tera type. What is everyone planning to try for the raid?
Looking at the moves that Primarina can learn, it looks like Steel-type can't be hit by anything for super-effective damage by Primarina, while Poison-type could be hit by Stored...
Used this method for clearing on the first success. Scizor didn't get there, and I didn't want to tweak it. Had a shiny Malamar in my boxes that I built, but never used, so I broke it out for this raid.
T1: Skill Swap, then kept using Superpower to lower my defense so I would get knocked out...
The Meganium tera 7-star raid was announced with Psychic tera type. What is everyone planning to try for the raid?
Not sure why they decided on Psychic tera for this raid, since the only Psychic-type attack Meganium can learn is Zen Headbutt and Tera Blast. Meganium has some good defenses, so...
Beat it first try with my Vaporeon idea. Went with Fake Tears over Haze. Started with 6 Calm Mind and then Sunny Day/Weather Ball to build up tera charges. Tera Fire and started blasting unless I needed to set up the sunlight again. Blastoise reset stats and I just used 6 Calm Mind again and...
Bellibolt. It has such a huge HP total that nothing could take it out in one hit (barring any setup, which doesn't really happen with NPCs). Had mine use double screens and Volt Switch as a lead and never worred about it dying. Had Slack Off to heal until later on giving it the Parabolic Charge...
My ideas are leaning towards:
Vaporeon - Tera Fire. Water Absorb ability. Calm Mind, Sunny Day, Weather Ball. Has access to Haze and Fake Tears.
Iron Hands - Tera Fighting. Belly Drum, Drain Punch, Close Combat, Electric Terrain or Focus Energy.
Gallade - Sharpness ability. Shell Bell item...
The Blastoise tera 7-star raid was announced at the same type Venusaur was; Blastoise with Steel tera type. What is everyone planning to try for the raid?
This could be as easy as just bringing Annihilape or Iron Hands (they have good HP/SDef) with Metronome held item + Drain Punch spam. No...
My best runs with Chesnaught were with Bellibolt using Light Screen or Gardevoir using Life Dew. I had a good run with Arboliva and Grassy Terrain as well, but I think some crits made me lose that one.
Using the Goodra farm build I saw on YouTube for further runs, just to get the herba mystica...
The new tera 7-star raid was announced; Venusaur with Ground tera type. What is everyone planning to try for the raid?
Serebii was pretty fast with the raid info, so I'm not going into this raid spoiler-free as usual, but I am still avoiding watching any videos on it until I've tried to build...
